Two to Three Weeks Before You Move

- Book early in May and August: Student lease turnover makes these the busiest weeks.
- Check for pet spots: Tell your cleaner up front so urine can be treated properly.
Moving Week
- Move everything out first: Furniture and boxes should be gone before cleaning.
- Vacuum the whole unit: Including closets and along baseboards.
- Clean after the movers: Movers track in dirt, so carpet cleaning goes last.
- Let it dry: Open windows or run fans for a few hours.
- Keep the dated invoice: Bring it to the walkthrough as proof of cleaning.
